Our Environmental Commitment
At the beginning of 2024, ASEPT International AB proudly announced our ISO 14001 Certification. This certification aligns our operations with the highest environmental standards, integrating an Environmental Management System (EMS) that fosters continuous improvement in our environmental practices.
Together with our ISO 9001 certification focusing on Quality Management, we are well-equipped to make well-founded decisions and actions regarding environmental issues and quality aspects. This dual focus guides our strategy and daily operations, ensuring that environmental considerations are integral to our decisions.
Achieving environmental sustainability is a constant journey, and we are committed to ongoing improvements. Here’s how we are making the most significant impact:
ASEPT’s Environmental Goals
- Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions | Aligning with Sweden’s environmental goals, we are committed to reducing emissions from our transport activities.
- Increase Recycled Plastic Use | In line with the EU directive on packaging waste, we are increasing the use of recycled plastic raw materials.
- Sustainable Energy Use | We aim to notably reduce electricity consumption by 2026 through modernizing our machine park. Additionally, we are transitioning to using climate-neutral electricity.
- Fire Protection Rounds | Regular fire protection checks help us eliminate risks and prevent fires in our warehouse and production facilities, minimizing potential environmental impact.
Continuous improvement in environmental sustainability remains an ongoing priority. Every step we take contributes to a better and more sustainable future for all.
