ASEPT is growing and we are looking for a Design Engineer

Are you a curious Design Engineer with a passion for product development? Do you like to develop new products in close collaboration with customers? Then this opportunity is the perfect fit for you!

About the position

In the role as a Design Engineer at ASEPT’s R&D department (placed in Lund, Sweden), you will work directly with customers, but also with maintenance and updates of the existing product range. You will be part of a department and report to our R&D Manager. 

We work closely with our colleagues in marketing, sales, quality and production, in order to achieve the best possible results together. The decision-making paths are short, and you will gain good insight into the entire value chain from start to finish.

In the Design Engineer role, you will work with the development of concept solutions, construction drawings, calculations, and product documentation.

Profile and qualifications

We are looking for a curious problem solver who wants to contribute to ASEPT’s continuous development. You have a genuine interest in construction and possess a high level of technical understanding and are able to see solutions in challenges as they occur. As a person, you are driven, positive, technical, communicative and responsible. You are responsive, social and find it easy to create relationships.

Your Profile

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
  • CAD software. Experience with Solid Works is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English is a requirement. Additional languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in The Office suite – especially Excel

  • Open to change and new challenges
